Finally had the chance to sum up Crufts...
Skye qualified for the Young Kennel Club Agility Dog of the Year semi-finals held at Crufts last year at Rugby Championship show coming 2nd.
This meant I had the privilege of running her in the YKC ring on Thursday at Crufts 2016, she was amazing and felt so crazy to run. She did an amazing run and came 3rd - qualifying for the final!!!!!
So later that evening we ran in the final, the buzz of the main ring at Crufts was insane! Skye was amazing, we unfortunately picked up 10 faults as I left her too much on her contacts and gave her the opportunity to jump them. Overall she had the fastest time by 2 seconds but I didn't know how much time I had to play with so I pushed.
I am just so grateful of her and am just so proud of how far she has come in such a short amount of time. Let's try and qualify for next year, but the most important thing I want to say is a huge thank you to all my amazing trainers who put their time and effort into getting me to where I am!
